Privacy and browsing safety
How to visit this site without leaving a trail.
If someone is monitoring your device, visiting this site could put you at risk. This page explains how to reduce that, and what Call to Freedom does with information.
Leaving quickly
The red Exit site button stays in the lower right of the screen on every page, and does not scroll away. It sends you away immediately. Pressing the Escape key three times does the same thing.
Neither can remove this visit from your device's history, your router logs, or monitoring software installed on your device. If you believe your device is being watched, the safest thing is to call from a different phone: 605-759-3565.
Browsing more safely
Use a private window. A private or incognito window keeps the visit out of your browser history.
Use a device someone else controls less. A library computer, a friend's phone, or a work device that the person monitoring you cannot reach is safer than your own.
Think about how you clear history. Deleting only the Call to Freedom entries can look more suspicious than clearing a longer span of browsing.
Text instead, if calling is not safe. The National Human Trafficking Hotline takes texts at 233733, or calls at 1-888-373-7888, free and confidential, 24 hours a day.
Client confidentiality
Information shared with Call to Freedom by the people we serve is treated as confidential and is handled according to our program policies and applicable law.
Services are voluntary. We do not require a police report, cooperation with a prosecution, or disclosure of immigration status in order to help. You decide what happens next, and you can change your mind.
Information submitted through this website
Anything you send through a form on this site is used only to respond to your enquiry. We do not sell donor or contact information.
Donations are processed through a third-party donor platform, which is subject to its own privacy and security terms. Call to Freedom does not store card details.
Forms on this site are not monitored around the clock. If you need help today, please call 605-759-3565 rather than using a form.
