Learn what it looks like.
Almost every referral Call to Freedom receives begins with somebody who recognised something. Everything on this page exists to make that more likely.

The book Call to Freedom wrote with a survivor’s grandmother, on understanding trafficking and protecting children.
Bring us in
We will come to your school, department or workplace.
Call to Freedom delivers training across South Dakota at no charge to the organisation receiving it, funded by donors who decided this should be free. We have reached 61 of the state’s 66 counties and all nine tribal reservations.
Sessions run from a thirty-minute staff briefing to a full professional training, and they are built for the room: what a nurse needs to notice is not what a deputy needs to notice.
If this is not what you came for
Knowing what it looks like is the whole job.
Almost every referral we receive starts with one person who recognised something and did not talk themselves out of it. Learning the signs costs you an afternoon and costs us nothing to teach.
